In 2008, I started this blog as a hobby with a goal of making a few bucks in extra income. It took a lot of hard work, but this site is now generating about 15% of my annual income before taxes. That is pretty sweet! Here are some tips to turn your hobby into income.
This month was uneventful in my personal finances, but very good in my business finances. I had a week long out of town trip with my family, and it was nice to get away. This month, my new cash flow strategy was fully working for the first time. I saw more money going into my Roth IRA than ever before and bumped up my mortgage payment as well. Here is how the cookie crumbled for the month.
March was an exciting month in the world of my finances. It marked the conclusion of my journey to become student loan free. It included my bonus at work, which made the debt payment possible, and it ended with a 6.5% increase in my net worth.
February was a month with a lot of income and relatively low expenses. I was able to focus my money where I wanted to give myself freedom to invest more and beat down my quickly shrinking student loans.
