Minimum Wage Increses

On July 24, 2009 (that’s less than two weeks), the United States minimum wage will increase from $6.55 per hour to $7.25 per hour. That is a difference of $1456 per year for impacted minimum wage employees. That might not sound like a lot to some of us, but it will bring people a roughly 10% raise.
