Hey everyone, welcome to the latest Personal Profitability episode! I’m chatting with Andy Hill about money, side hustles, blogging and so much more – you won’t want to miss this one.

Did you also know I record personal finance videos every Friday? I promise, they are not boring talking-head videos – they’re two minutes of fun! I host them in different locations (when the weather is good!), too – my latest video involves the zoo!

You can check out the videos here – and don’t forget to subscribe so you will get an alert when the newest videos go live.

What We’re Chatting About This Week

Welcome back to episode 107 of the Personal Profitability podcast! I’m happy to introduce this week’s guest, Andy Hill, because we are covering several amazing topics related to personal finance, marriage, money and more. Andy is a fellow Dad, FinConner, and personal finance fan. Andy and his family also went from a negative net worth to a positive net worth in less than a decade, plus several other impressive accomplishments. You won’t want to miss what he has to say!

You’ll also notice I mentioned FinCon, one of my favorite conferences. Andy is also a fellow blogger and, while I don’t know him as well as I know other FinConners, it just goes to show you how big this personal finance and blogging movement is. If people tell you blogging is a waste of time, or personal finance isn’t relatable, just know that there is a group of people out there (like the FinConners) who share your same goals!

This Week’s Guest

Andy Hill is the host of the Marriage, Kids and Money podcast focused on helping families build legacy wealth. The podcast was nominated as “Best New Personal Finance Podcast” by Plutus in 2017.

Outside of writing for his own weekly blog of the same name, his personal finance focused articles have been featured in STAND Magazine, Business Insider, AOL Finance, NerdWallet and Rockstar Finance.

When he’s not “talking money”, Andy enjoys wrestling with his two kids and singing 80’s karaoke with his wife.
