Travel Hacking on a Budget

April 3, 2014 by John Schmoll

I have a confession to make, my wife and I have become somewhat fond of travel hacking. What is travel hacking you ask? Well, it means you purposely choose credit cards that offer nice sign-on bonuses that you can turn into free vacations. It does require some work, but if I can do it then I know anyone can. One problem that can arise though is how to do so on a budget. We pride ourselves in living by a budget, and have found ways to churn credit cards without busting our budget – you just have to be creative. 🙂 [Read more…] about Travel Hacking on a Budget

January 13, 2014 by Eric Rosenberg

I felt stuck.

I was living in the same city my parents chose when I was 5 years old. I was in an industry with lots of consolidation and at a company with litterle room for growth. September 19, 2012 by Eric Rosenberg

Planning the Costs of a Weekend Getaway

This weekend, I am taking my girlfriend up to the mountains for a quick weekend getaway. I am excited to get out of the city for a couple of days and enjoy everything a fall trip to the Rockies has to offer. Before I made the reservations, however, I made sure to tally up the costs of a weekend away.
